West Mission Bay Drive Bridge Widening
San Diego, CA

The West Mission Bay Drive Bridge links Mission Bay with the Point Loma area. It is currently a 4-lane prime arterial carrying 60-K ADT. Immediately to the south of the bridge is the I-8 interchange and just to the north of the bridge is the Sea World Drive interchange. Rick Engineering prepared the Traffic Study for the widening of the bridge, integrating the future traffic volume need, ROW reservation for a Bus Rapid Transit System, and the interchange constraints.
