What
was once agricultural fields and cattle ranches is
now one of the fastest growing areas in southwest Riverside
County. The beginnings of dramatic change came to the Rancho
California area in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s
as developers began purchasing property and building homes
to keep up with the influx of people in search of affordable
housing. Although several of the original ranches disappeared
with the growth of the valley, this area continues to produce
agricultural crops, including wine grapes, citrus, and avocado,
as well as many fruits and vegetables.
The I-15 corridor between Los
Angeles County and San Diego was completed in the early 1980’s
igniting single-family housing development in the Rancho California
and surrounding areas. The Riverside Office of Rick Engineering
Company worked on many projects in this region, some of which are
the residential communities of Rancho Bella Vista, Morgan Hill
and Temeku Hills, and is proud to have been a part of the significant
growth in this area of Riverside County.
Famous for its fine wines and
with its combination of mild climate and rolling hills, the Temecula
Valley area remains a popular choice for new development. Rick
Engineering Company looks forward to being a part of the continuing
expansion along the I-15 corridor. |
