The Mercado Business District
City of Escondido, CA

The Mercado Business District requested the City of Escondido integrate the Mercado Business District with the City’s Central Business District; the two districts are separated by Centre City Parkway. Rick Engineering was retained to prepare a study which would make recommendations for improved vehicle and pedestrian access, improved parking and improved lighting. The project included presentations to the Business District and City Council. The report was followed by PS&E for the preferred alternative.
