Rick Engineering Company provides all municipal traffic engineering services as the City of Lake Forest’s full-time Contract Traffic Engineer. Tasks include review of traffic studies and design plans; addressing and remedying residents concerns such as traffic signal operations, parking regulations, traffic calming measures; conducting simulation analysis and retiming of signals where needed; presenting and making recommendations to the City’s management staff on evaluation of the Residential Permit Parking Program planning and implementation of various Transportation and Traffic related Capital Improvement Projects; attending regional meetings and professional conferences; and making recommendations to the Director of Public Works, Engineering and Planning Staff, and Parking Issues Working Group.
