When
San Diego’s
premier mall was re-modeled, Rick
Engineering Company's Surveying
and Mapping Division was contracted to
provide utility locations, an ALTA Survey, and construction
staking services. Using serve drive EDM’s and precise coordinate
geometry, new footings and columns were laid out both within
and outside of existing buildings. Work was performed during
evenings so as not to disrupt the daytime operations of
the stores.
Rick Engineering Company's Civil
Engineering Division was responsible for all civil
engineering work undertaken as part of the expansion and
subsequently won a State award for its efforts.
