Rick Engineering Company’s Water Resources Division has analyzed thousands of miles of culverts, storm drains, and river channels throughout California and Arizona. Many to support the design of channel or culvert improvements and to improve flooding concerns or benefit the community, others to assess the impact of a proposed project on the floodplain within the river.

Transportation projects may require drainage calculations that involve coordination with the Department of Transportation and require additional modeling and reporting, including floodplain evaluation studies, floodplain encroachment studies, and location hydraulic studies.
