Del Sur Receives Governor's Environmental & Economic Leadership Award!
Del Sur, a new master-planned community developed by Black Mountain Ranch LLC, was recently presented with the Governor's Environmental & Economic Leadership Award in the category of comprehensive land use planning. " This honor recognizes Del Sur's commitment to developing socially responsible and environmentally friendly practices that promote environmental protection and economic growth" according to Linda Adams, California Secretary for Environmental Protection.

American Public Works Association (APWA) presented Rick Engineering Company with the Project of the Year Award (September 2007) for the Water Quality Basin at Woodside Avenue, for the County of San Diego.

American Consulting Engineering Council (ACEC) presented Rick Engineering Company's Water Resources Division an award for Engineering Excellence in 2006, for their work on the Goat Canyon Enhancement Project.

Rick Engineering Company's Urban Design & Planning Division is an award winner for their design submittal for downtown Carlsbad commissioned by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce in 2005.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) presented to Rick Engineering Company and the City of Chula Vista their 2005 Outstanding Civil Engineering Project award for their work on Olympic Parkway.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) presented Rick Engineering Company and the Southwest
Wetlands Interpretive Association the 2005 Award of Excellence for the Goat Canyon Enhancement Project.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) presented Rick Engineering Company and Richland Communities, Inc. the 2005 Outstanding Civil Engineering Project for Morro Hills Village & Arrowood Golf Course.

American Public Works Association (APWA) awarded Rick Engineering Company the 2005 Project of the Year Award for the Emergency Watershed Protection Project.

Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California (CELSOC) presented Rick Engineering Company the Professional Development Award (April 2004) for the outstanding professional development programs, training, and support of our employees' community and professional involvement.

The Landscape Architecture Division received the Beautification Award from the City of Chula Vista (2003) for their work on Santa Cora Park.

Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California (CELSOC) presented Rick Engineering Company the Merit Award (October 2003) for the lead role in the restoration of Poggi Canyon in Chula Vista.

San Diego Engineering Coalition and the California Society of Professional Engineers presented Rick Engineering Company the Outstanding Civil Engineering Project Award for the lead role in the Santaluz Land Development Project. Feb. 21, 2003.

The San Diego Engineering Coalition in conjunction with the California Society of Professional Engineers awarded Rick Engineering Company the Project of the Year Award (Feb. 2003) for our work on the Santaluz master planned community.

The City of Chula Vista awarded the Landscape Architecture Division with the Ken Lee Award for Innovative Design (2002) for their work on Cottonwood Park.

American Public Works Association (APWA) awarded Rick Engineering Company the Project of the Year Award (June 2002) for our innovative work on the Santaluz master planned community, highlighting our efforts to coordinate pipeline improvements, a massive water reservoir, and miles of roadways with numerous public agencies.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) awarded Rick Engineering Company the Project of the Year Award (May 2002) for our innovative and expeditious work on the Santaluz master planned community.
